Life is what you make of it.
All you need is a Heart, a little bit of Courage, a few Brains, the ability to Dream, and the Motivation to make your Dreams Happen.
Sounds like the Wizard of Oz? That is what I thought. But, I sat back one day and thought, what does it take to be happy? What does it take to meet your goals?
To some people being happy means making lots of money. To others, it is having a family, a lifelong spouse, generations of love around you.
Some of us Strive for Perfection, which we have all along, except sometimes we can’t see it.
I am running as fast as I can, and I do not know what I have.
To some, it would be hard to believe that anyone could be happy in the middle of 50 acres (or preferably more…), drawing your water, living on little electricity, an outhouse, and total peace.
So, we all come to this thing called Life from different angles.
How often is the smartest kid in the house the one who makes the least amount of money? The average kid in the house is the one who makes the most money?
I watched a program early one morning, and the preacher reminded the audience that the Lord did not choose the richest or the most moral people to lead.
Think about Biblical stories; who was a murderer? Who had concubines?
So, why are we waiting for perfection? What if we are already perfect?
What if we are ALREADY surrounded by “perfect?”
The Back Story
Right Here Right Now is the first song that came to mind. And it probably fits more today than ever.
But, yesterday, I heard Gary Allan’s – Life Ain’t Always Beautiful, all the things that go through your mind in a lifetime. I did not know the story behind Gary’s song, and I am sure someone will relate, so I will keep the music in this blog.
Music is always on my Mind and in my Heart.
Close your eyes and quiet your Mind. Think of what you have, not what you do not have.
