Life Writer, Storyteller and Growth Motivator

Meet Ann

Connecting Communities

For more than 25 years, my husband and I have talked about how finding the truth is a full-time job.

I think it is vital that you understand my writing is, for the most part, raw.  I tell you the story without worrying about offending or being politically correct, as in one of my stories about a Father.

The fact is people do change; my thinking at that period of my life was that the Father was not that great at parenting, based solely on my experience.

My thinking over the years has changed as I watch today’s Fathers taking a much more significant role in their children’s lives than when I grew up.

I tell you all of my stories through my eyes at the time of the story.  If I did not, I would not be authentic in telling my story.

I encourage you to write and remain your authentic self. It is ok to be flawed.

Ignore the Noise –

When I decide my tagline would be Ignore the Noise & Move Forward, the Pandemic was not around us.

Today, more than ever, Ignore the Noise is essential.  That doesn’t mean Ignore things of importance, that means turn down the volume or reduce the noise around you.

I know people who spend all of their days glued to commentary, social media, which includes YouTube for the sole purpose of being an expert.

If you are listening to the commentary, you will not become an expert; you will become a minion, a follower of a potentially flawed person.

For more than 25 years, my husband and I have talked about how finding the truth is a full-time job.  Most of us are so busy; we don’t have the time or resources to locate facts.  And no Snopes or any other “fact-oriented” website may not be a good source for the real story, aka the facts.  Follow the money.

So, how do you make decisions today?  How do you vet information?

I think I am pulling my husband out of his retirement to teach this vital process that no one wants you to learn—Critical Thinking.

So, this should be interesting.
